Crocs, Others Sued Over E-Commerce Patents

Law360 (February 24, 2011, 1:40 PM EST) -- Landmark Technology LLC on Wednesday continued an offensive over its e-commerce patents, targeting Crocs Inc., Herman Miller Inc. and Cinemark Holdings Inc. in a new infringement suit in Texas.

The complaint, lodged in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Texas, alleges that 10 online retailers, selling goods as varied as wedding products, funeral merchandise, educational toys and sports memorabilia, use Landmark’s patented technology to transact business over their websites.
