UK Antitrust Watchdog Targets Truck Fuel Card Co.

Law360, New York (February 25, 2011, 2:41 PM EST) -- British antitrust regulators on Friday accused CH Jones Ltd., which sells gas payment cards to trucking fleets, of unfairly trying to block a rival provider by signing exclusive deals with truck stops.

The U.K. Office of Fair Trading issued a statement of objections accusing CH Jones, which operates as Keyfuels, of abusing its dominance over the market for pay-as-you-go fuel cards, mostly sold to companies that operate heavy-goods trucking fleets.
