WTO Finalizes Report Decrying US Zeroing

Law360, New York (February 25, 2011, 6:58 PM EST) -- The World Trade Organization's Dispute Settlement Body on Thursday adopted a report finding that the use of zeroing on products from South Korea is inconsistent with the WTO anti-dumping agreement.

A WTO panel issued the report Jan. 18, finding that the U.S. acted inconsistently by using zeroing when calculating margins of dumping on three Korean products: stainless steel plate in coils, stainless steel sheet and strip in coils and diamond saw blades.
