GAO Backs Resource's Protest Over DOI Contract

Law360 (February 25, 2011, 7:36 PM EST) -- The U.S. Government Accountability Office on Thursday sided with Resource Dimensions LLC in its protest over a Department of the Interior contract to develop a process for prioritizing Land and Water Conservation Fund projects across the country.

The GAO ruled the Interior Department had not provided adequate rationale for awarding the contract in November to Boulder, Colo., company Redstone Strategy Group LLC instead of Gig Harbor, Wash.-based economic and policy consulting firm Resource Dimensions.
