Maryland Senate Approves Same-Sex Marriage Bill

Law360, New York (February 25, 2011, 8:31 PM EST) -- The Maryland State Senate passed a bill that would allow same-sex marriages in the state Thursday, a day after the Obama administration announced it would no longer defend a federal law defining marriage as a union between one man and one woman.
