Ex-Onyx Workers Denied Certification In OT Action

Law360, New York (February 28, 2011, 3:15 PM EST) -- A federal judge in Arkansas on Thursday denied a bid for conditional certification in an overtime collective action brought by former employees of cosmetics and personal care products company Onyx Corp.

Judge J. Leon Holmes of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Arkansas signed off on a four-page order denying without prejudice the plaintiffs' bid for conditional certification.
