Ga. Court Disbars Ex-Judge Over Unethical Rulings

Law360, New York (February 28, 2011, 8:10 PM EST) -- Georgia's highest court Monday disbarred a former state judge who pled guilty in September 2009 to reducing defendants' sentences and nixing probations outside of court as favors to friends.

Although a special master had recommended a three-year suspension, the admitted felony conduct of Brooks E.
