Leaded-Brass Hose Warning Label Suit Shrinks

Law360, New York (February 28, 2011, 8:02 PM EST) -- A lawsuit accusing Sears Roebuck & Co. and others of failing to warn California residents of health risks from leaded-brass hose nozzles and accessories has been narrowed, with a judge approving a settlement Monday as to one of the defendants.

The consent judgment concerning tool maker Great Neck Saw Manufacturers Inc. under California's Safe Drinking Water and Toxic Enforcement Act, commonly called Proposition 65, received approval Monday by Judge Loretta M. Giorgi of the Superior Court of the State of California, County of San Francisco....
