Harris Wins Relief, No Extra Damages In FedEx IP Fight

Law360, New York (March 1, 2011, 2:00 PM EST) -- A federal judge Monday shot down a communications technology company's bid for enhanced damages but approved other relief in its Florida lawsuit accusing FedEx Corp. of infringing eight patents for a flight data system.

Judge John Antoon II of the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida granted requests by Harris Corp. for final judgment, attorneys' fees and a permanent injunction following a July jury verdict in the plaintiff's favor.
