Texas AG Sues CVS For Dumping Customer Records

Law360 (April 17, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Texas Attorney General Greg Abbott is hauling CVS Pharmacy Inc. to court, alleging in a lawsuit filed in state court on Tuesday that one of the drugstore chain’s Texas stores exposed hundreds of customers to identity theft by tossing customer records in a trash dumpster.
