MoFo Snags Kramer Partner For NY Investment Practice

Law360 (March 15, 2011, 8:42 PM EDT) -- Morrison and Foerster LLP has hired a partner from Kramer Levin Naftalis & Frankel LLP to lead its New York investment management practice.

Jay G. Baris, 57, joined MoFo on March 1. He represents investment companies, broker-dealers, investment advisers and other financial institutions.

Keith Wetmore, chair of the firm, said that Baris was particularly well-suited in helping clients address any challenges arising from recent regulatory developments in the financial industry.
