Semiconductor Cos. Want Rambus IP Claims Stayed

Law360, New York (March 2, 2011, 11:01 PM EST) -- Semiconductor manufacturers defending against Rambus Inc.'s claims of patent infringement asked a California federal judge to delay trial Wednesday, saying that they need a decision from the Federal Circuit before they can move forward.

The case should be taken off calendar so that the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit can rule, Jared Bobrow of Weil Gotshal & Manges LLP said in a letter to Judge Ronald Whyte of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California.
