Fla. Judge Stays Toss Of Federal Health Care Reform

Law360, New York (March 3, 2011, 3:08 PM EST) -- A federal judge in Florida gave the U.S. government a brief reprieve Thursday when he stayed his own order overturning the national health care reform law as unconstitutional.

The order by Judge Roger Vinson in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Florida means that states must continue implementing the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act while the federal government appeals his previous ruling.
