Wis. Senate Tells State Police To Arrest Absent Dems

Law360, New York (March 3, 2011, 10:47 PM EST) -- Wisconsin Senate Republicans on Thursday ordered the arrest of the 14 Democratic senators who fled the state to stall a vote on a contentious bill limiting the rights of public sector unions.

Any missing senator will be detained by police and brought to the senate chambers if he is found in the state, Senate Majority Leader Scott Fitzgerald said at a news conference.
