NY Bill Encourages Fracking Chemical Disclosure

Law360, New York (March 4, 2011, 5:40 PM EST) -- The New York State Senate on Thursday introduced a bill that would bar hydraulic fracturing contracts from prohibiting the disclosure of chemicals used in the controversial method for natural gas drilling.

The bill would also prevent a contract from diminishing payment to any of the contracting parties because of a provision disclosing such chemicals.
