Texas Judge Won't Move Aso Bandage Patent Case

Law360 (March 4, 2011, 9:42 PM EST) -- Aso Corp. on Friday failed to persuade a Texas federal judge to send to Florida a suit brought by Innoband Inc. accusing Florida-based Aso of infringing a wound dressing patent by selling Aso Qwik-Strip Adhesive Bandages.

Judge Charles Everingham IV of the U.S. District for the Eastern District of Texas denied Aso's motion to transfer venue, finding that Aso had not shown that the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida was clearly a more convenient venue.
