Texas Motels Settle Hurricane Price-Gouging Claims

Law360, New York (March 7, 2011, 7:00 PM EST) -- The Texas attorney general announced Monday that five south Texas motel operators had agreed to collectively pay $88,000 to resolve allegations that they unlawfully raised the prices of their rooms when Hurricane Dolly hit the state in 2008.
