Calif. Court Employees Win Appeal Over Layoffs

Law360, New York (March 8, 2011, 1:32 PM EST) -- A California appeals court ruled Monday that a county court system had violated its own rules by refusing to grant union employees' requests for demotions to lower-paid positions in lieu of layoffs, affirming in part a lower court's decision.
