GAO Sinks Turkish Protest Over Army Projects

Law360, New York (March 9, 2011, 1:32 PM EST) -- The U.S. Government Accountability Office released a ruling Tuesday rejecting a Turkish contractor’s claims that the U.S. Army unfairly disqualified its bid for five construction projects in Eastern Europe.

The GAO found that the Army properly excluded M. Erdal Kamisli Co. Ltd. from contention because the company’s past performance record was checkered.
