ExxonMobil Sued Over Baytown Plant Explosion

Law360, New York (March 9, 2011, 5:20 PM EST) -- A Houston couple sued ExxonMobil Chemical InterAmerica Inc. on Monday for injuries the husband sustained during an explosion and evacuation of an oil refinery he visited as a contractor in 2009.

Esau Carreon suffered severe and permanent injuries to his knees, back and other parts of his body while escaping from an explosion and fire at ExxonMobil’s Baytown Olefins Plant in Baytown, Texas, according to a complaint filed Monday in the District Court of Harris County Texas.
