Adviser Seeks $6.7M For Estrella Loan Deal

Law360, New York (March 8, 2011, 10:53 PM EST) -- A $6.7 million suit filed Monday in New York claims oilfield services company Estrella International Energy Services Ltd. failed to pay commission owed to its financial adviser for securing an $80 million loan from Credit Suisse Group AG.

Florida-based boutique financial advisory firm B Group LLC sued Estrella and its CEO Warren Michael Levy in the Supreme Court for the State of New York, County of New York.

Estrella retained B Group in 2007 to help secure capital so it could grow, according to the complaint....
