China Delays $1.2B Nokia Siemens-Motorola Deal

Law360, New York (March 9, 2011, 4:57 PM EST) -- Nokia Siemens Networks said Wednesday that its $1.2 billion acquisition of wireless networks infrastructure assets from Motorola Solutions Inc. will again be delayed pending approval from Chinese regulatory authorities.

China's Anti-Monopoly Bureau of the Ministry of Commerce is entering the third phase of its review process for the proposed deal, Nokia Siemens said in a statement.

Nokia Siemens said the acquisition would not be completed by the first quarter of 2011 as anticipated, but that it remained committed to the deal. The company provided no further details...
