9/11 Workers Lose Appeal For Health Compensation

Law360 (April 20, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- The government officials who assured New Yorkers in the days following the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks that the air quality in Lower Manhattan did not pose great health risks cannot be held accountable for illnesses that workers have since suffered, an appeals court has ruled.
