Trading Technologies Settles Lawsuit Vs. Chicago Broker Over Trading Patent

Law360, New York (October 2, 2004, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Only a day after filing its patent infringement lawsuit, Trading Technologies International Inc. settled a dispute with Chicago brokerage Goldenberg Hehmeyer & Co. over patents related to software for electronic trading.

Goldenberg admitted infringing the patents and will license them in the future, Trading Technologies said.

The financial terms of the deal were not publicized.

The complaint was filed Tuesday with the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois before Judge Blanche Manning.
