Madoff Trustee Sues French Bank For $430M

Law360, New York (March 9, 2011, 6:02 PM EST) -- The trustee seeking to recover assets from the Bernard L. Madoff megafraud filed an amended complaint in New York bankruptcy court Tuesday seeking to recover $430 million from French investment bank Natixis SA and Tensyr Ltd., one of its funds.

The filing, lodged in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of New York, divulged details of trustee Irving H. Picard's suit against the bank initially filed under seal on Dec. 8.
