Lockheed Workers' Case Over Toxins Dismissed

Law360, New York (April 20, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- A federal appeals court has dismissed most of a putative class action lawsuit filed by current and former employees of Lockheed Martin Corp. who claimed they suffered unidentifiable physical damage from exposure to a hazardous substance.

The April 18 decision from the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit was a victory for an international group of manufacturers accused of causing so-called “subclinical, cellular and subcellular” harm by exposing Lockheed workers to beryllium.
