Judge Steps Down In Case Against DeLay Aides

Law360, New York (March 10, 2011, 5:41 PM EST) -- A Texas state judge recused himself without explanation Thursday from the money laundering case against two aides to former U.S. House Majority Leader Tom DeLay

Judge Pat Priest of the Texas Travis County District Court removed himself from the case at the request of defendants John Colyandro and Jim Ellis, who have been charged in connection to the campaign finance scam that landed DeLay a three-year prison sentence in January.
