Fuji Vows To Fight Power Generation Cartel Fine

Law360, New York (April 20, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Fuji Electric Holdings Co. has joined the growing list of companies that are seeking to appeal a massive €751 million fine handed down by the European Union in retaliation for their alleged participation in an electricity-transmission technology cartel.

On Friday, the Japanese electronic giant revealed that it had filed a formal protest with the European Court of First Instance, meeting the April 19 deadline to submit claims.
