GAO Backs Bid Protest Over DHS Financial System

Law360, New York (March 10, 2011, 8:24 PM EST) -- The U.S. Government Accountability Office on Wednesday sustained a bid protest over a contract award worth up to $450 million for the U.S. Department of Homeland Security's integrated financial, asset and acquisition management system.

After reviewing Global Computer Enterprises Inc.'s protest, GAO said the DHS should reevaluate certain solicitation requirements, issue a revised request for proposals and field revised proposals, among other recommendations.
