Sanctions Denied In Graco, Gama Trade Secrets Suit

Law360, New York (March 10, 2011, 5:19 PM EST) -- A New Jersey judge on Thursday denied sanctions all around in Graco Inc.'s trade secrets battle with Gama Machinery USA Inc. over contractual obligations stemming from the sale of a subsidiary, saying Gama's discovery violation allegations were neither supported nor frivolous enough for sanctions.

Judge Freda Wolfson of the U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey adopted a magistrate judge's Feb. 14 report and recommendations on a Sept. 10 motion for evidentiary and monetary sanctions by Gama and its parent company, PMC Global Inc.,...
