Orrick Settles SiRF's Negligence Claims

Law360, New York (March 11, 2011, 2:28 PM EST) -- Orrick Herrington & Sutcliffe LLP on Thursday settled a professional negligence and breach of contract suit brought in California by GPS device manufacturer SiRF Technology Inc. over a failed Section 337 case.

Judge Marilyn Hall Patel of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California gave the two sides 90 days to file settlement papers with the court. If details of the settlement are not provided within that time frame, the case will be put back on the docket and the trial will move...
