Alcatel-Lucent Needn't Arbitrate Union Claims: Judge

Law360, New York (March 11, 2011, 7:47 PM EST) -- A New Jersey federal judge ruled Friday that Lucent Technologies Inc.’s unionized workforce cannot force Lucent or parent company Alcatel-Lucent Holdings Inc. to arbitrate claims that Alcatel subsidiaries are farming out installation work to subcontractors.
