Pa. Action Over Dead Health Care Plan Targets Pols

Law360, New York (March 14, 2011, 9:01 PM EDT) -- Pennsylvania Gov. Tom Corbett and other state legislators were hit with a proposed class action Monday alleging that they violated the 2001 Tobacco Settlement Act by doing away with the adultBasic health care plan for low income workers.

The suit, filed in the Commonwealth Court of Pennsylvania, said money from a massive $200 billion 1998 settlement — in which Philip Morris International Inc., R.J.
