Latham Reps DJO In $254M Dr. Comfort Acquisition

Law360 (March 15, 2011, 4:32 PM EDT) -- California-based medical device company DJO Global Inc. said Tuesday that one of its indirect subsidiaries has agreed to buy Wisconsin-based Rikco International LLC, a therapeutic footwear provider that does business as Dr. Comfort, for about $254.6 million.

The subsidiary has inked a definitive agreement to acquire Dr. Comfort for about $254.6 million in cash, DJO said.

The companies said they expect the transaction to close within 30 to 45 days, subject to customary governmental approvals and closing conditions.
