House GOP Introduces Dodd-Frank Revisions

Law360 (March 15, 2011, 3:48 PM EDT) -- U.S. House of Representatives Republicans on Monday announced five bills designed to rework some of the Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act's financial regulatory reforms, including provisions regarding executive salaries, derivative clearings and securities offerings.

The draft bills were announced by Rep. Scott Garrett, R-N.J., chairman of the House Financial Services subcommittee on capital markets and government-sponsored enterprises, who will chair a hearing examining the proposals Wednesday.
