Ex-Coke Plant Manager Admits To CWA Violations

Law360, New York (March 16, 2011, 9:23 PM EDT) -- A former environmental manager at The Coca-Cola Co. bottling plant AMCAN Beverages Inc. on Wednesday pled guilty to violating the Clean Water Act by sending contaminants into a city sewer system in northern California.

Dhiren Patel, 43, admitted to preparing and submitting false monthly reports showing compliance with the Clean Water Act, according to a Thursday statement by the U.S. Attorney's Office for the Northern District of California.
