Hampshire Hotels Sued For $105M Over Food Contract

Law360, New York (March 16, 2011, 11:55 PM EDT) -- Hospitality company EMM Group Holdings LLC filed suit Wednesday saying it was owed at least $105 million after Hampshire Hotels & Resorts LLC allegedly breached a food and beverage management contract for Hampshire’s Dream Downtown hotel in New York.

The complaint, filed in the Supreme Court of the State of New York, County of New York, said Hampshire hired EMM Group for the operations in a verbal agreement and delayed producing a written contract because the hotel company was allegedly still negotiating with an EMM Group...
