FDIC Sues Ex-WaMu Brass, Wives For Wrecked Bank

Law360, New York (March 17, 2011, 4:18 PM EDT) -- Defunct Washington Mutual Bank NA's former top two executives took "historically unprecedented risks" on their way toward wrecking the financial institution while pocketing millions, the federal government claimed Wednesday in a suit that also named their wives as defendants.

The Federal Deposit Insurance Corp.'s complaint, lodged in the U.S. District Court of the Western District of Washington, lists as defendants former WaMu CEO Kerry K.
