DOE Documents Detail Sallie Mae Stock Ownership

Law360, New York (April 24, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- As lawmakers continue to question the relationship between the U.S. Department of Education and student lender Sallie Mae, a DOE official has disclosed that at one point he owned more than $50,000 of stock in Sallie Mae while employed by the agency.
