Fuwei Sues Commerce Over Anti-Dumping Duties

Law360, New York (March 18, 2011, 6:23 PM EDT) -- Chinese manufacturer Fuwei Films Co. sued the U.S. Department of Commerce on Thursday over anti-dumping duties applied to its plastics.

Commerce made several errors in how it calculated dumping duties on polyethylene terephthalate film, Fuwei said in a complaint filed in the U.S. Court of International Trade.

The final determination was “incorrect, contained ministerial errors, assumptions of fact and erroneous calculations, and overstated the dumping margin,” Fuwei said.
