Coudert Settles Bard Unit's $25M Malpractice Claim

Law360, New York (March 18, 2011, 7:47 PM EDT) -- The plan administrator of the estate of Coudert Brothers LLP asked a New York bankruptcy court Friday to approve a settlement that would release the defunct law firm from a $25 million patent malpractice claim brought by SenoRx Inc.

The proposed settlement requires C.R. Bard Inc., which acquired SenoRx in June, to drop its claim of professional malpractice in exchange for a release of the the firm's claim that SenoRx owes $35,000 in unpaid attorneys' fees, according to a motion for approval filed in the U.S....
