1st Circ. Nixes NeuroMetrix Device Securities Suit

Law360 (March 21, 2011, 2:35 PM EDT) -- The First Circuit on Friday upheld a ruling that nixed a securities class action accusing NeuroMetrix Inc. of marketing a medical device to doctors in a way that inflated the value of the product.

In its ruling, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the First Circuit agreed with the decision of the U.S. District Court for the District of Massachusetts, which granted NeuroMetrix and several executives' bid to dismiss the suit in December 2009.
