Skadden Reps Broadcom In $313M Provigent Deal

Law360, New York (March 21, 2011, 2:53 PM EDT) -- Broadcom Corp. announced Monday that it had inked a $313 million deal to acquire Israel-based Provigent, a privately held provider of mixed-signal semiconductors for microwave backhaul systems.

Irvine, Calif.-based Broadcom, which has been fairly active recently on the mergers and acquisitions market, said this latest transaction would allow it to more thoroughly address the $5 billion microwave backhaul equipment business.
