Ex-Legislator Gets 4 To 12 Years For Insurance Fraud

Law360, New York (March 21, 2011, 7:18 PM EDT) -- A New York judge on Monday sentenced a former Long Island county legislator to four to 12 years in prison for his conviction last month on charges of insurance fraud and grand larceny.

Judge James F. X. Doyle of the 10th Judicial District County Court, Suffolk County, sentenced George Guldi to three to nine years in prison for a grand larceny conviction and one to three years in prison for insurance fraud, according to the Suffolk County District Attorney’s Office.
