NYC Bar Pushes For More Access To Discipline Records

Law360 (March 22, 2011, 1:26 PM EDT) -- The New York City Bar Association called on the state legislature Friday to consolidate the judiciary, open attorney disciplinary proceedings to the public and modernize arbitration proceedings, among dozens of other legislative proposals.

While the bar acknowledged the state's ongoing budget constraints, it said that some of its proposals weren't cost prohibitive, according to the bar's Legislative Program for 2011.
