ITC Keeps Duties On Pipe Fittings Imports Post-Review

Law360 (March 24, 2011, 7:33 PM EDT) -- The U.S. International Trade Commission on Thursday unanimously voted to keep existing anti-dumping duty orders on certain carbon steel butt-weld pipe fittings imports, determining under an expedited five-year sunset review that revoking the orders would likely cause harm.

The vote means that existing duties on pipe fittings from Brazil, China, Japan, Taiwan, and Thailand will remain in place, according to the ITC.

The Commission's public report on the matter will be available April 20, the ITC said.
