Antitrust Suit Over Failed Spinkler Co. Deal KO'd

Law360, New York (March 25, 2011, 2:31 PM EDT) -- A California federal judge on Tuesday dismissed Digital Sun's antitrust complaint against competitor Toro Co. over a failed takeover bid, but allowed the plaintiff to amend the case despite her doubts the suit would be successful.

Judge Lucy H. Koh of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California granted Toro's motion to dismiss the suit, giving Digital Sun 21 days to amend its complaint to fix the problems outlined in her order.
