2 Ex-Calif. City Pols Deny Corruption Charges

Law360, New York (March 24, 2011, 10:28 PM EDT) -- Two former city officials of Bell, Calif., pled not guilty Thursday to charges that they misappropriated millions of dollars of public funds and falsified public documents in order to hide their inflated salaries.

Former City Manager Robert Rizzo and ex-Assistant City Manager Angela Spaccia entered not guilty pleas at their arraignment in the Superior Court of the State of California, County of Los Angeles, according to Rizzo's attorney James Spertus.
