Ex-Partner Accuses Ropes & Gray Of Age, Sex Bias

Law360, New York (March 25, 2011, 3:07 PM EDT) -- An intellectual property veteran at Morrison & Foerster LLP filed suit Tuesday in New York accusing her ex-firm, Ropes & Gray LLP, of firing her for complaining that her work was reassigned to younger, male partners.

In a complaint filed in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York, Patricia A. Martone accused Ropes & Gray of retaliation, sex and age discrimination, and interference with her rights under the Employee Retirement Income Security Act.
