GAO Boots Celeris Challenge Of Navy Contract

Law360, New York (March 25, 2011, 8:45 PM EDT) -- The U.S. Government Accountability Office on Thursday rejected Celeris Systems Inc.’s case challenging the U.S. Navy’s award of a missile range services contract to The Hana Group Inc.

The GAO denied the Anaheim, Calif.-based professional and technical services company’s bid protest, finding no error with a decision to hand the contract to Honolulu-based Hana, which scored a higher evaluation rating than Celeris and proposed to do the work for $11 million less than Celeris’ offer.
